Hey guys! So its week two of Home and Away and just because the live blogging stopped doesn't mean we have stopped watching! Because I have a bit of time (and I wanna see how long I can actually keep it up for LOL) here's the recap and reactions to today's episode.
The episode picks up at the diner where Colleen is bothering Liam "I am sure you're getting married on the beach or somewhere equally inappropriate" she exclaims. Roo quickly fixes his coffee and tells him to run before it's too late. Meanwhile Marilyn is worrying about Irene, Roo tries to talk her around when Colleen says that she's worried and that Irene shouldn't have been off on her own (NO DUH!)
At Irene's, April and Bianca are talking. Bianca wanted to know if April was with Heath, April says yes, and then asks Bianca if she was the one to tell Heath that he was her first, Bianca says no, so she figures its Heath. April explains that her and Heath are over, to which Bianca seems relieved, April remarks about Bianca's change in demeanor, to which Bianca just replies "I just am glad you saw him for who he was sooner rather than later." ...yeah it's not that you want to be with him or anything...
On the beach Alf looks out at Irene's boat using binoculars "What the flamin hell are you doin woman?" he exclaims.
At the surf club Dexter and Sid are discussing April and Heath's relationship. John Palmer comes over and talks to Sid for a second, then gets a call from Alf about Irene. John catches Sid up and the two rush to help Irene.
At the beach Sid and John arrive, Sid asks "what's she doing out there alone?" (good, at least the majority of the people in this town realize the contrived plot point is stupid and continue to point it out LOL), anyways they get on a boat and rescue Irene, Sid figures out that she's having a heart attack and John calls for paramedics.
They get back to shore, the paramedics arrive as do Roo, Colleen and Marilyn.
At the surf club Heath ask's Dex if she has a problem, Dex asks if he was in a relationship with April, He says its none of his business, and then goes on to say that the two slept together. Dex says if they did go there and he let her get away than he's a bigger fool than he thought he was and walks away.
Taking these words to heart Heath than goes to Irene's to talk to April. Bianca says no, and April says she doesn't want to talk so the two of them grab their things and leave.
At the hospital Sid tries to help Irene but is pulled off the case. So Sid talks Alf, Sid and Marilyn over what is going on.
At the Surfclub Dex is playing pool with the riverboys, and than talks to Liam and asks if he heard anything to Irene, he says no so he calls Bianca to find out more. It's than that Heath walks in and asks why Liam is there, doesn't he know what is going on with his fiance?
Liam rushes over, and catches up with the rest of them, Irene is still alert and talking she asks Sid to explain her diagnosis. He say's he can't he isn't
authorized to do so, but Irene asks him again and Sid says "she has a right to know" so Sid picks up the medical file and explains it to her. It is than that a nurse comes in and see's what Sid has done.
Bianca is walking in circles blaming herself for all the drama and pressure they have caused Irene, she makes April promise not to see Heath anymore and April says she could care less about Heath and she promises not to see him anymore.
At the farm house Sid walks in and talks to Dex again about his relationship with April, and updates him on Irene. Than Sid heads off to bed.
The next morning at the hospital April is watching over Irene, Bianca comes in and tells her sister to go home and get some rest, April agrees to it, and as she leaves Irene's room she runs into Dex. Dex than asks her what's with her and Heath, April says same thing that's with him and Dallas, Dex once again explains that April got it wrong and that he heard all about her and Heath, and walks away.
On the beach April than runs into Heath, he asks about Irene, and than apologizes about before, he wasn't ready for someone to be serious with him, so April asks now what? And the two head back to the Braxton's place, take of their shirts and start making out, it's than that April jumps off him, says she promised Bianca and she just can't right now. Heath is frustrated. "I guess I'll see you" "Or not" he replies.
And that's it! Another good episode. Not the best, it did have some drama and I am enjoying April/Heath/Dex triangle, as well as the whole Irene story (despite how stupidly its written and the overall lack of screen time that's been devoted to it -.-). But that's just me, what did you guys think of today's ep?
