We are soap fans who live on Denial Island where crappy soap storylines never happen(ed). Sometimes we even blog about things we like...

Lincoln Lewis Presents Award at the AACTA Awards 2012
The first Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards (previously known as the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Awards) were held this evening in Sydney, Australia, and Lincoln Lewis (ex-Geoff Campbell, Home and Away) was there to present an award.
Lewis (pictured, right) co-presented the award for Best Original Screenplay. Not nominated himself, Lewis will soon be seen in Channel 9's new comedy Tricky Business - which, from the promo's, looks alarmingly similar to Channel 7's hit show Packed to the Rafters, but I digress.
Someone who was nominated was Todd Lasance (ex-Aden Jefferies, Home and Away), for the 'Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama' award, for his role in the television adaptation of Tim Winton's novel Cloudstreet. Lasance eventually lost out on the award to Richard Cawthorne (Killing Time).
Also spotted on the red carpet was David Jones-Roberts (Xavier Austin, Home and Away).
