Jake Wood Wants To Stick Around EastEnders

Digital Spy is reporting that EastEnders star Jake Wood who plays the villain with a heart of gold Max Branning wants to stick around the soap for awhile.

As long as they're happy for me to be here I'm happy to stay. But at the moment it's just until next May, but I hope it will continue far beyond that."

This is really good news and I am glad that Max will be staying around the square for at least a little while longer.

Stacy Haiduk's Contract Has NOT been RENEWED!

Oh my word, news has come out that the Young and the Restless star Stacy Haiduk's contract has NOT been renewed! Fans are once again in an outrage and trying to come up with some crazy scheme to get The Powers That Be to extend her contract.

I think Stacy is an amazing actress, and she is one of the few that are actually capable of making insane storylines actually seem realistic, so her loss to this show will be felt. With that said if any of the other soaps executives are awake and watching she won't be without a job for long.

So here is my question for you, what is your take on this news, and IF Stacy has to leave Y&R where do you think she will show up on next?

My bet, B&B, why? Because its just like Bill to pick up after Y&R's leftovers, and then precede to put them on the backburner.... ugh.

Brandon Buddy OUT at One Life To Live

Today is a sad day for Sole fans as actor Brandon Buddy has announced via his twitter account that he will not be renewing his contract and returning as Cole Thornheart.

As of this moment no news has come out as to if they will recast this role or not.

Personally I am on the fence about this news. I am in no way, shape, or form the biggest Cole supporter, I think Cole was a decent character but his relationship with Starr has grown a little boring as of late and I am looking forward to seeing things get spiced up with the new guy. But with the rumors still swirling that Patrick might be on his way back, I think the character of Cole has to remain on the canvas for at least initial storyline sake.

But that's enough about what I think, what are your thoughts on this on-going Cole debate?

Why General Hospital Has Won Me Over

So we have established already that General Hospital is known for doing stupid things and pissing me off from time to time right? Well guess what? All of that is tossed out the window now because they have finally put M&M together! Possibly...maybe...well hell at least they kissed! YES the road to M&M has begun and if you think I am going to let this potential super couple go without a fight you are completely mistaken. So Spixie fan's get ready to fight, because if you think @Soapoperababble can bring the thunder during a JaSam vs. Liason debate, you ain't seen NOTHING yet!

Okay so maybe I am a little over the top there, but I am really pleased with General Hospital's choice to actually give this couple a test, if only for a little bit. So please keep it up GH, and give M&M a real storyline, so we can see what this couple could do for this show.
