Ringer 1x11 Promo: It Just Got Normal

Former All My Children Alum Sarah Michelle Gellar's cult hit tv series Ringer returns tonight and promises to provide a lot of drama.

While Ringer has struggled in the ratings recently, it still has a possibility of coming back next season, do you think the series deserves it? And what are you liking or disliking about this confusing drama? Let me know in the comments below.

Stephen Amell Cast as Green Arrow!

Actor Stephen Amell has been cast in the title role of Green Arrow for the CW's upcoming pilot Arrow. Amell is known for his guest appearances on various programs such as Hung, Private Practice, and Vampire Diaries.

The character was last portrayed on Smallville by former Passions star Justin Hartley.

While I cannot say I am happy about the news (I was REALLY looking forward to seeing Hartley front burner in his own show), I will give the pilot a view when it becomes available and will try and keep an open mind while doing so.

Neighbours From the Beginning Coming to DVD!

Great news Neighbours fans, Shock Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing Neighbours from the beginning on DVD!

The 6 disc DVD set will be released on April 4th 2012, and will include the first 56 episodes.

Take a trip down memory lane for fans of one of Australia’s most successful TV dramas. Neighbours, the long-running Australian television soap opera first broadcast on the Seven Network on 18 March 1985. Through its entire run in Australia, Neighbours has been screened as a twenty-two minute episode each week night in an early-evening slot. The show has been sold to over fifty countries around the world, making it one of Australia's most successful TV series! Watch the very first 56 episodes of Neighbours and relive these memorable moments on DVD!

Shock Entertainment is not new to the soaps on DVD game, as they have released the entire Prisoner (Prison Cell Block H) series on DVD also! So this is very promising news! Here's hoping a Region 1 DVD set will be released as well!

Liam still wants to have it held at Angelo's, but Bianca wants nothing to do with anything Heath has involvement in. Liam bravely plays the jealousy card and lo and behold it works! Bianca agrees to Angelo's.

Why Are You Not Watching Days of Our Lives?

In September 2011, Days of Our Lives underwent a new regime and has been consistently improving over its last episode. Great socially relevant storytelling about characters we know and love have been implemented, as well as an improved use of its veteran cast (having the fab 4 driving as well as supporting story!) - yet the ratings don't reflect a liking for Days 2.0.

While I will 100% agree that Days is leaps and bounds away from being perfect, it is still a really interesting show that has continued to keep my attention and leave me wanting more, especially considering how SMART some of the scripts and storylines are.

So here is my question to you. Why are you not watching Days? Better yet what could Days do to get you to tune in? (*cough* answers like "Make it One Life to Live" or "Cast Trevor St. John as the REAL Todd Manning" don't count but are appreciated! *cough*). Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Bianca screeches at April "are you drunk? Answer me". Bianca is beside herself, Heath gets jack of the drama and leaves. April gives Bianca the death stare and then she walks away towards the beach. Bianca follows Heath towards the Surf Club and yells at him some more. The news will be all over Summer Bay within seconds - everyone heard Heath tell Bianca he slept with April.

General Hospital's Last Air Date In Current Time Slot SET!

While this news has been out for awhile it hasn't quite sunk into the soaposphere so I am going to post it. As of today (January 26th 2012), the very last episode of ABC's soap opera General Hospital will air on Wednesday- September 5th 2012 in its current 2pm cst/3pm est timeslot. while this isn't necessarily the end of General Hospital, it is not in anyway good news.

We wish the cast and crew at General Hospital the best of luck in the coming days, because they will all need it. Stay tuned to Denial Island for more coverage as the fate of General Hospital continues to develop.

Okay this is one of my favorite promos EVER! I am such a sucker for the original theme song! And it PROVES that the theme song means something if they are using it... *glares at Cameron Welsh* With that said I guess the absence of the theme song has made me grow fonder of it, so...

Anyways Bianca makes her choice, Heath or Liam, who's it gonna be? I pray Liam but if not I hope Liam tells Binc's to kick rocks because he isn't gonna wait around forever, but hey that's just me.

Charlie's funeral tonight peeps, have you brought the tissues??

The episode starts with Charlie's funeral procession. Ruby walks behind the funeral car and Charlie's police colleagues bringing up the rear. In the church, the casket lies at the top of the aisle with a picture of Charlie atop a wreath of flowers. Attendees can be seen - Brax is notably absent. The church is packed though. Bianca regrets how she and Charlie left things in the end.

Van Hughes Bringing Cole Thornhart to General Hospital!

We all kinda knew this one was coming! It's been confirmed that actor Van Hughes will be bringing the One Life to Live character Cole Thornhart over to General Hospital to help wrap up Cole's relationship with Starr Manning (essentially freeing her up to go be with 'someone else', until cancellation rolls around and she dumps her current boyfriend for Cole all over again...yeah I'm a bitter James fan and what?).

I am happy to hear this news; I was wondering how they would address this issue and I am glad to see they are taking the time to at least give the coupling some closure and undo the happy ending realistically vs. off camera.

Home and Away's Ratings Slip While Neighbours Rises to the Top!

Since I posted the ratings for yesterday's episode I thought I'd go ahead and look at the ratings for Tuesday as well.

Home and Away's second episode slipped a tiny bit to 1,037,000, losing 27,000 viewers, but was still the 6th most watched show of the night (318,000 viewers shy of first place).

Meanwhile, Neighbours rose to the top of the digital ratings pulling in 284,000 viewers up 25,000 people, making it the #1 rated digital program for the night! Great job guys keep it up!

Nickelodeon Picks Up New English Telenovela Reach for a Star

Great news soap fans Nickelodeon has picked up a new telenovela "Reach For A Star" to begin airing later this year.

Home and Away Season Premiere Ratings Make a Splash for 7

The ratings have been released for last nights season premiere of Home and Away on 7 and it proved to be a success as the show pulled in a total of 1,064,000 viewers ranking it as the 9th most watched program of the night (only 577,000 viewers shy of first place).

Meanwhile Neighbours pulled in decent numbers and was seen by 259,000 viewers making it the third most watched digital program of the night (only 73,000 viewers shy of first place).

Neighbours Back In Production For 2012

Our favorite residents of Ramsey Street are hard at work again after returning from their Summer production hiatus, the show is once again rolling ahead, with filming being done four weeks ahead of what is currently airing on tv.

We here on the island wish all our favorite Neighbours the best of time on set and we can't wait to see what they have in store for the remainder of 2012.
