The Story So Far...
Tensions built between Sonya and Toadie after it was revealed Toadie was involved in bringing the new shopping complex to Erinsborough - at the expense of many of their neighbours' businesses. Sophie moved out of the Ramsay household and in with Uncle Paul, after she discovered older sister Kate had kissed her boy crush Noah. Paul tried to help Kate make amends, but she decided time on her own with her little sister was more important. Tash remembered her mum saved her from drowning but in the process drowned herself, and it was revealed that Michael and Emilia were off shagging each other while it happened! Karl and Susan decided to separate. Chris was the subject of a gay bashing and sustained an undiagnosed fractured rib - when we last saw Neighbours, he was slumped on the floor of the garage....To remain spoiler free, don't click to read more!
Chris is still slumped on the floor - Rhys rushes in and does the hero doctor thing. He's alive! Rhys does a McGuyver act and performs a tension pneumothorax using dirty spare car parts and tools... my hero! Dr Hero gets Chris to the hospital; diagnosis: collapsed lung. Lucas, Summer and Andrew pace anxiously in the waiting room. Rhys worries his McGyver act may have damaged Chris further. We all know how sanitary mechanic floors are. Turns out Lucas' garage is cleaner than most, Chris is all good thanks to Dr Hero's handiwork.
Lucas busts in on Sonya and Toadie at home, telling him Peter Noonan is a scumbag! Toadie does his lawyer thing and probes Lucas for proof, but in the end even Toadie can't explain away the chain of evidence. Can I just mention that Toadie is true to form and wearing a really awful guitar-print shirt. So. Bad. Sonya and Toadie watch the cctv video footage - things are starting to make sense for Toadie. A knock at the door - it's the police; they want to question Toadie over Chris' attack - some serious allegations have been made! What the?? At the police station, Toadie is interrogated. Methinks Peter has fingered Toadie for the assault. Nice boss. The police keep Toadie in for questioning all night; by the time he comes out of the station, he's not looking happy. In fact, he looks rather shell-shocked. Toadie believes he's being set up by Peter Noonan. I repeat, nice boss.
Over at the Ramsay's, Kate's all dolled up and ready to go. A text changes those plans, Jade has piked (ha! and I wrote that before Kate said it!!). Emilia rocks up looking for Lucas, and Kate convinces her to come out with her instead... Girls Night! But it turns out to be cocktails at Charlies - these people really know how to party. A cute guy checks out Kate, she says she's disinterested. Well, we all know whoever hooks up with Kate is soon out of the show (she *is* the dating kiss of death on Neighbours). However, Kate and Emilia pull an all-nighter, with Kate feeling worse for wear the next morning. She gets a text from a keen guy named Josh. Guess she wasn't that disinterested after all...
Tomorrow, on Neighbours...
The police have to hold Toadie back after he spots Peter Noonan at the station.
Chris might not be the same person after his attack.
Karl and Susan fight over who Summer should live with.
The police search Toadie's house and car and find something....
