Actor Stephen Amell has been cast in the title role of Green Arrow for the CW's upcoming pilot Arrow. Amell is known for his guest appearances on various programs such as Hung, Private Practice, and Vampire Diaries.The character was last portrayed on Smallville by former Passions star Justin Hartley.
While I cannot say I am happy about the news (I was REALLY looking forward to seeing Hartley front burner in his own show), I will give the pilot a view when it becomes available and will try and keep an open mind while doing so.
